The concept of restoration with adaptation of the landmark "Kushnirska Tower" - minimal interventions in the existing building volume of the tower, use of authentic building materials and structural elements and adaptation to new use, ensuring comfort and inclusiveness.

This design decision proposes to use the landmark building as a city exhibition, museum, conference space, which may include a tourist information point, a café, a reading room, and a small lecture hall or cinema hall.

Solutions for the restoration of the building include cleaning the stone walls of the facades of the building from dirt, stitching with re-filling in the places where the mortar is lost, filling the places where there are no stones with similar modern ones, preserving the surfaces with mortar-fixing materials, cleaning the plaster from dirt, filling the losses, fixing the plaster with protective fixing solutions. It is also provided for the restoration of lost ceilings with wooden beams, the use of existing holes from old beams for the installation of new ones. The beams are covered with wooden planks. The restoration of the roof involves the replacement of the destroyed structural wooden elements and the replacement of the covering with a ceramic roof, the fragment where the covering elements were lost is proposed to be covered with a glass roof, which will add more light to the upper floors of the tower and will also symbolically emphasize that this is a restoration, not a complete one playback.
The main functions of the building: 1st floor - reception with a tourist information point, a reading room with the possibility to buy, read and exchange books (book sharing), you can also work on a laptop or recharge your phone here, auxiliary premises: a block of bathrooms, a wardrobe for employees, a wardrobe for school trips. The first floor can be used as a shelter. II floor - the main exhibition hall (can be used for collections of local archaeological finds, ethnographic or local history exhibitions, periodic exhibitions of modern art), additional premises: an office for employees of the institution, a storage room - a reserve for processing exhibition materials and further forming exhibitions. 3rd floor - VR hall (virtual reality hall) for reproducing historical battle scenes of ancient city life, crafts. IV floor - a small cinema hall for 25-45 people with the possibility of viewing film screenings, art productions, arranging discussion clubs and other cultural and social life. V floor - a conference hall with a capacity of up to 100 visitors, which can be divided into two smaller halls and a catering area. VI floor - a café with a mezzanine, with upper insolation and a greenhouse.
